Course Description
This course deals with the growing internationalisation of the business world, covering business studies within an international dimension in the following ways: (i) in the context of the subjects which incorporate a cross-national perspective; and(ii) by comprehensive training in a foreign language, with strong emphasis on the day-to-day use of language in a business environment. You should reach a level of competence which permits you to deal with all aspects of business transactions. The taught programme prepares you for a year's placement overseas including study in complementary business studies subjects at a recognised educational institution. These include centres in countries where French, German, Spanish, Italian or Chinese are spoken. You will choose one of these locations at the beginning of the course, which determines the language you study.

Entry Requirements
Grades expected 260-280 points including a minimum of either one 12-unit award or two 6-unit awards, plus Passes in GCSE Maths and English Language (Grade C or above), plus evidence of language ability assessed as follows:(i) You will be likely to possess, at entry, an A level C in French or other evidence of ability to learn a language;(ii) If you are aiming for overseas experience in another language you will not need prior knowledge of that language. (iii)The language that you study as part of our course cannot be your mother tongue.
