Course Description
This course will review the requirements for internal audits, explain the technical requirements of CLAS/ISO 17025 and provide detailed guidance on how to approach and successfully audit essential laboratory operations to a standard that gives confidence in the technical activities, the competence of the laboratory and reassurance of results. On completion of this course delegates will have a better understanding of the essential technical requirements of ISO 17025/CLAS from an auditor perspective. Through greater understanding of these requirements and the guidance given, delegates will be able to conduct focused and effective technical audits to give accurate assessments of the status of laboratory quality systems and overall competence. The course will be of particular interest to auditors who need to assess laboratory operations.
