The course enables students to make a career in environments that deal with such issues and is also of benefit to academics and lawyers who want to specialise in this field; candidates study the principle areas of intellectual property law; namely patents; trademarks; copyright and designs; the specialist area of information technology law; which all have an impact on a number of intellectual property rights and associated principles of exploitation and ethics.
Core modules: patent law; trademark law; copyright and design law; information technology law; exploitation and ethics; intellectual property litigation and the dissertation.
