Course Description
The programme aims to introduce students to advanced and detailed study of the major aspects of Intellectual Property Law. Emphasis is placed on developing an in-depth knowledge and critical appreciation of the laws governing intellectual properties in their domestic and international contexts.
Course Fees
Standard fees: full-time UK and EU students £3,240 & £1,620 part-time, for the majority of courses 2007/8. Please note that some courses have higher tuition fees and you are advised to check with the particular department.

Assessment method
Assessment is based on a combination of continuous assessment and a written examination at the end of the relevant semester. In addition, students must complete a course in research methods and a dissertation on a topic within the specialism. Guidance on the writing of a dissertation is given.
Entry Requirements
Normally a 2:1 Honours degree in Law (or another discipline) or equivalent.
