Course Description
This is a new qualification to replace the E-Quals 7262 and NVQ in Using IT. It is extremely flexible with units available at Levels 1 or 2. Students will study either word processing, databases and spreadsheets or word processing, the internet and email. In addition, a mandatory unit Make Selective Use of IT is taken.

Venue Description
Dunstable College provides various facilities on campus such as Library which holds a wide variety of resources required for courses. The library also stocks videos, DVDs and CD-ROMs and there are internet-enabled computers. In addition there are also stocks of over eight thousand electronic journals and newspapers; the IT Workshop; the Refectory caters for all tastes, providing meals or a quick bite to eat. There are vending machines which dispense snacks and hot and cold drinks; the Coffee Shop serves a range of snacks, delicious scones and drinks ranging from a cafe latte to herbal teas. Students can find a range of colour copying, binding and finishing services for their coursework and projects in Reprographics. They also have access to a virtual learning environment. The College supports the Equal Opportunities Policy. It can easily be accessed by car and bus. Support is provided for students with learning difficulties and disabilities
