This course enhances the student's role as a communicator and adviser, extends their conception of the effects and limitations of information technology and gives understanding of the new opportunities it provides within organisations and society. It covers topics which include: computer architecture, software development and applications, information and communication systems.
Students must be aged 16 to 19. They should have completed 4 GCSEs at grade B or above or GNVQ intermediate level in IT.
