This course teaches managers how to work with, and between, business and IT specialists; they learn to shape information and knowledge strategies and provide the leadership to make and carry out information policies; students develop the strategic perspectives they need to use information, organisational knowledge, and information technologies; students examine technology and its potential from the perspective of those managing technical staff, rather than the technical staff themselves; they focus on managing information, information systems and knowledge workers; key themes cover the informational aspects of: individual and organisational behaviour and politics; management processes; human resources; strategy; culture; this MBA also develops high-level managerial and strategic skills for executives, managers and consultants; these include: communication and analytical skills; problem solving; creative thinking; change management.
