Course Description
The course is designed to equip you with the skills needed to manage and develop the information systems within an organisation. The blend of a postgraduate, commercially-oriented information system management qualification with a first degree has proved very attractive to employers. The course is made up of a three week induction unit along with eight taught modules and a major project. The taught modules are made up of five compulsory modules and three optional modules. The compulsory modules are: Object-Orientated Programming Web Systems Computer Systems and Networks Advanced Database Systems Technology Change Management and Integration. You can choose three from the following optional modules: Management of Information Systems Artificial Intelligence Human Factors in Systems Design Systems Analysis and Design E-Commerce Systems Ethics. Attendance modes are designed to be as flexible as possible. It is possible to switch to the MSc Computing at any time during the first semester, or to MSc IT during the first month. The course can be taken in full-time mode over one year or in part-time mode in anything from two to six years. In full-time mode, four taught modules are delivered during each 15 week semester, and the project is carried out during the summer period. Part-time students will typically take two modules per semester over two years then complete their project in a third year.

Entry Requirements
Good honours degree in a relevant discipline such as science, technology, business or social science and extensive industry experience. IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 213 scores are required for international students. Applicants may be invited to interview.
