The aim of the course is to address the considerable managerial problems that exist in the effective and efficient utilisation of information systems in order to aid business performance so as to meet the issues identified in the rationale. The aims are therefore that the student should: think strategically about the use of IS/IT and its potential impact on the competitive forces; appreciate and understand the e practicalities of IS/IT in a corporate environment; understand business and IS planning; understand business processes and economics.

An honours degree or above from a UK university or an unclassified degree with further study or experience.
