This course is ideal for beginners with no massage experience, or for therapists looking for the flexibility of a treatment that is portable and doesnt involve their clients disrobing. Indian Head Massage originated over a thousand years ago as a form of traditional family grooming. The treatment relieves tension, headaches and stress with massage to the shoulders, neck, scalp and face. It also stimulates lymphatic drainage, helping to remove toxins and boost the immune system as well as restoring joint mobility and improving circulation.
This course is open to beginners who would like to learn massage techniques to use on friends and family. Practitioners doing this course must sign a form confirming that they hold an NVQ level 3 in A&P and Massage such as ITEC or VTCT and that they are professionally insured.
