Students will work with tutor guidance through set exercises and at their own pace. The main syllabus content includes file-management and word processing; using MS Word and Windows. If time allows and in discussion with the tutor there may be the opportunity to look at spreadsheets and databases or more functions of MS Word. Also covered are basic communications and internet/searching functions. The majority of the literacy content will be covered in your IT exercises.
There are no formal entry requirements - this course is ideal for students with very little or no computer experience.
