This course is aimed at those students who wish to enter the marketplace as illustrators specialising in narrative and sequential work. It includes the comic or cartoon strip, or Bande Dessinée; the graphic novel; film or TV or theatre or animation storyboarding; instructional diagrams; some forms of children’s storybook; computer games characterisation and web graphical illustration.
Students should have Diploma in Foundation Studies (Art and Design), Access to Art and Design, AVCE (Double Award) in Art and Design, National Diploma in Design or 2 ‘A’ Levels in subjects appropriate to the degree and 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, one of which should be English.
