This is an open learning course which you can study in your own time. Total study time is 40 hours, with 3 hours of tutor support available, by arrangement. Please contact the provider for further information.

This course costs £195.00 (subsidised rate for students who have been resident in the E.E.A. for 3 years). Fee waivers may apply.
Entry Requirements
Prior Knowledge and Skills RequirementsBefore starting a course of study or training leading to the assessment for this unit, it is assumed and is advisable that the candidate has already acquired the knowledge and skills as specified in the IAB Level 2 and 3 Certificates in Book-keeping and the IAB Level 2 Certificate in Computerised Book-keeping.It is recommended that before commencing a course leading to either or both of the Units of the IAB Level 3 Diploma in Computerised Book-keeping the prospective student has already achieved the IAB Level 2 Certificate in Computerised Book-keeping and the IAB Level 3 Certificate in Book-keeping. Alternatively, they should have comparable prior knowledge and skills acquired through paid or voluntary work experience.
Equipment and Materials
You will need to use an IBM compatible personal computer (capable of running Windows 95), a copy of the relevant software (Sage Instant Accounting v6 / Sage Line 50 V6 or Sage Instant Accounting 2000 / Sage Line 50 V7). 7 floppy disks (minimum) and a printer. When completing your application form, please state the type of Sage software you will be using on the course. Suitable software can be obtained at a concessionary rate through Open Learning. The exam fee is an additional cost. Candidates will need to contact International Association of Book-keepers and ask for a copy of their Dip CB Registration Form for this qualification.
