About the course: This course provides an introduction to computing and information technology and helps students to develop the skills and knowledge required for the sector. Course content: IT user fundamentals Website software Desktop publishing and spreadsheets IT communications - using the internet and email Improving productivity using IT Use of design imaging and presentation software Functional skills – English Maths ICT After this course: Progression to level 2 qualification.
You must be aged 16-18. Students need entry level 3 in English and Maths or achieve an equivalent level in the initial College assessment. You will be required to attend a short interview.
