This course introduces participants to the fundamental building blocks of all digital computers and the operating principles of computer peripherals and develops an understanding of the principles underlying the construction of computer systems. It covers the topics in information systems, software development and computer and network technology. It is also recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority and on completion participants can progress to Professional Diploma in Information Technology.
