Who Is It For?
This qualification aims to provide practising managers with the knowledge, skills and confidence to perform effectively as coaches or mentors as part of their normal work role.

How Is This Qualification Delivered?
This qualification is offered as a distance, blended learning course. You will be given free access to an online Coaching and Mentoring course through our e-learning system, globe, which will set the context for the qualification and provide relevant underpinning knowledge. This will be marked by a designated tutor who will also provide online and telephone support.

All of our qualifications are delivered using our e-portfolio system, oscar. Our qualification process allows you to minimise the time you spend away from work and ensures that you undertake study that is relevant to you and your organisation.

What Support Will I Get?
Throughout your qualification you will be supported by an assessor who has up-to-date coaching and mentoring experience and qualifications and an in depth knowledge of the voluntary sector. Our assessors are all experienced coaches and mentors and hold ILM Level 7 Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring qualifications. Your assessor will talk to you on a regular basis to support you with your learning. We will discuss with you how many hours you will need to commit for the qualification and how many hours we will provide.

You will also get trial membership to the ILM for six months. This gives you access to a wide range of online resources including reading lists, study guides, suggested websites for further research and other tailored resources to help you complete your qualification successfully.

Progression Opportunities
When you have completed the certificate you may like to think about moving on to the Level 5 Diploma for Professional Management Coaches and Mentors.
