This module provides the learner with a good working knowledge of how to use the Internet to find information and to use e-mail to communicate effectively at work and at home. After taking this course, learners will know about using email and the internet. They will be able to send and receive emails, search for specific information online and take appropriate precautions to avoid online fraud and malicious damage to their files and computers. The course is supplemented by tasks, assignments and a project, which allow learners to practise their newly acquired skills and encourage communication with their tutor.
