Access applicants are expected to have a minimum of a Level 2 qualification, or work or voluntary experience demonstrating Level 2 or Level 3 organisational or administrative skills. You will be expected to demonstrate good Level 3 academic potential, and strong motivation and commitment, through an entry test and interview. The entry test will consist of a written comprehension exercise and an essay. Successful completion of these will be followed by an interview. As this is an intensive course, you will also be expected to demonstrate the ability to work independently and cope under pressure.
Access to Higher Education (If you pass the course you will gain the Access to HE Diploma (Humanities and Social Sciences). You will also get a certificate listing all of the units or topics you have studied.)
