About this course

Human geography: The course develops an informed and critical understanding of contemporary social, economic, political, cultural and environmental issues within a spatial context; students gain an in-depth understanding of a range of themes such as urbanism, heritage tourism, environmental policy, planning and management, global sustainability and development, retailing geographies, historical geographies, and technology and cultural change; the course is studied alongside management which looks at management issues in organisations.The course is weighted 75% major and 25% minor subjects.
