Course Description
An eight week course in handbag making. This structured course for beginners will cover basic design, pattern cutting and construction for fabric bags. Master the essential techniques in cloth, before going on to our popular Leather Accessories course. You will create your own pattern block, and learn how to turn it into the finished article, practicing techniques including cutting a toile; putting in zips, linings and facings; inserting pockets and handles;and using clasps, magnets, and eyelets.
