Hounslow Adult & Community Education (HACE) offers part-time courses for adults throughout the London Borough of Hounslow at over 60 different locations, catering for a diverse population with a wide range of educational needs.
HACE (Hounslow Adult And Community Education) offers fully-trained, well-prepared tutors and friendly, helpful staff catering for around 7,500 students each year.
What's on offer
Hounslow Adult & Community Education offers well over 1,000 vocational and leisure courses - in mornings, afternoons and evenings.
Throughout the year Hounslow Adult & Community Education also offers short workshops in selected subjects.
Creches or funding for childcare are provision is available for students who are taking courses which lead to a qualification.
There is a Learning Information Centre which provides:
- Information, Advice and Guidance for those who need help finding the right course or planning a career
- General information about all courses
Course fees on qualification courses are waived for students who are 18 or under or who are on means-tested benefits.
Location
Courses are taught at schools within Hounslow, plus more than 60 other outreach locations.
There are 4 main enrolment sites based in Chiswick, Cranford, Hounslow Manor and Feltham; all are accessible by road and bus, and some by rail and tube. Most of the sites have disabled access. Facilities
Up-to-date equipment is available to students, ranging from the state-of-the-art beauty suite at Brentford to a series of ICT rooms, dance studios, kitchens and pottery studios.
