Course Description
This is a practical course for people with little or no experience in horticulture or who need to improve their confidence or their reading and writing skills before moving on to another course. The course includes growing and looking after plants; looking after sports turf; hard landscaping; building hard landscape; preparing for work; work experience placement; the development of Key Skills.

Venue Description
Reaseheath College provides facilities such as Animal Centre; Self catering hostel; Learning resource and student services centre; Equine facilities; College farm; IT teaching centre; Purpose built construction trades workshops; new engineering workshops; Catering facilities; Enhanced horticultural facilities. Extra support is available for students with specific learning difficulties, such as dyslexia and dyspraxia. It is also the perfect setting for conferences, weddings, meetings and exhibitions. A wide range of function rooms is available, from the impressive Committee Room overlooking the beautiful lake, to the Lord Wooley Centre, which can seat three hundred and fifty people in comfort
