This course develops practical, vocationally specific skills and the advanced theoretical knowledge required to work as garden or landscape designers or progress to a full degree. This course covers managing a garden design business, plant and soil science, principles of garden design, planting design, design of hard landscape details, landscape management, and garden maintenance, history of garden design, garden equipment and technology.
