Course Description
This course includes an introductory year for students without A levels, those who want to return to education after a period of employment, after a career break or to make a career change. The aim of the first year of the course is to enable them to develop strong academic and vocational skills which will prepare them for more specialist studies in the later years of their course. This course includes preparatory academic skills, personal development and self reflection, studying with technology, work based learning, introduction to principles of business management, introduction to food systems, processing and manufacturing.
Assessment method
Assessment is through project work, practicals, essays, presentations and examinations.
