Hopwood Hall College has 3200 full-time students, of whom nearly 100 are international students, and 8000 part-time students. The college specialises in preparing students for entry into higher education at the best universities in the UK or into skilled employment. The college also has its own higher education courses, both full and part-time, mainly in vocational subjects.

Hopwood Hall College offers you an opportunity to learn in a rural campus that is only a half hour bus journey from Manchester city centre or in a town centre location. Located in the borough of Rochdale in the northern sector of Greater Manchester, the college has two sites, the Rochdale campus and the Middleton campus, which are five miles apart. The Middleton campus is located in a beautiful green-belt location, which is only nine miles from Manchester. The Rochdale campus is located in the town of Rochdale, which is only 20 minutes by direct train from Manchester.

What's on offer
Hopwood Hall College offers A-levels, as well as vocational programmes, including higher education and professional programmes. The college's areas of expertise are: A-levels for entry into higher education; sport and sports academies; pre-uniformed and public services; and skills for entry into higher education or employment in a range of vocational areas from accounting to retail & distribution. The college has four centres of vocational excellence (CoVEs):early years development & childcare, sport & leisure industries, construction and health care. The sports facilities and the unique sports curriculum located at the Middleton Campus are fantastic and have been further enhanced by a £1 million development of its top playing fields by a grant from the Football Foundation. Work related learning is also on offer in the form of apprenticeships and advanced apprenticeships. Employers are also catered for in the form of Skills for Life and Train to Gain as well as part-time and professional courses, which can be tailor made by contacting the college's business development unit.
