Course Description
This degree course, gives students the opportunity to acquire a broad-based understanding of the history of the visual media of Art, Design and Film from the eighteenth-century to the present day. Unlike traditional programmes it offers students opportunity to explore the relationships between the different visual areas and examine the social, political and theoretical context of cultural production and consumption. Students also undertake detailed studies in the History of Art and Design and Film Studies. Modules are taken at three levels corresponding to the three years of the full-time degree
