History allows you to have a deeper insight into how the past has shaped the world today. This course focuses particularly on International and British history allowing you to appreciate the world around you more analytically. The focus on interplay between countries gives you the opportunity to reflect on the key issues which continue to arise with international relations and there is particular emphasis on how political change can impact upon all aspects of life.
You must be aged 16-18. The general entry requirements for A-levels are 5 GCSE passes (Grades A* - C) in one sitting including Maths and Grade A* - B in English.
