This award has been designed for staff in higher and professional education, particularly those with teaching learner support or research experience and aspirations who wish to further develop expertise in particular areas; it is designed to provide a flexible framework of learning appropriate to individual professional development requirements; there are a number of 15 and 30-credit modules available to study with students required to complete a total of 60 credits to be awarded the diploma.
Core module: Practitioner research methods (core module); plus options from: personal tutoring; diversity and inclusion; internationalism; designing for e-learning; policy and practice in higher education and professional education; preparing for conference and publication; research supervision (30 credits); effective personal tutoring; technologies for learning; negotiated CPD; research informed teaching; problem based learning.

The pace of the course is very fine. First semester is basic so its easy but in the second semester it takes you to the deep end....more
taught modules were pretty good. But wish the course length is more so that there will more time spend with the lecturers. More learning....more
