A complex and enjoyable course which takes twelve candidates through a business start-up year in wedding planning and events management, culminating in a fashion industry party during London Fashion week. Course summary: two day introductory residential course followed by four follow up training sessions over one year, quality accommodation provided for the introductory session and end of year party, assistance with your own launch party, active market research done with you and for you by WPS, business style consultation, venue tours at five top wedding and event venues, dinners and refreshments at all training sessions, entry to the end of year party and planning budget, lunch allowance with tickets to the business start up show, tickets to confex - the professional event managers conference and exhibition at Earls Court in February 2012, all teaching materials and business start-up guides, VAT at the current rate and monthly mentoring to keep you on track at all times.
For applicants aged under 21 on 1st January 2012 a minimum of 2 AS level or equivalent qualifications is recommended. For applicants aged 21 and over on 1st January 2012 no formal qualifications or experience are required. All applicants should be in a position to start a full or part-time business during 2012, willing and able to travel for classes, willing to accept help and advice and join in with the planning of the end of year party.
