This course will prepare the students for a career in the hairdressing industry. They will learn about the hairdressing principles such as: customer service skills, reception, health and safety, and a variety of hairdressing technical skills. It provides them with such skills as: shampoo and condition; blow dry hair; assist with hair colouring services. They will explore topics such as: health and safety; reception duties; contribute to the development of effective working relationships; prepare for hair services and maintain work areas.
You should have a minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade E or equivalent or Level 1 general vocational qualification.
