This is a one year intensive programme for mature students who have an interest in Hairdressing as a career. Candidates will be expected to pay for essential tools, equipment and uniform. Students will work on members of the public as clients in the College's In Vogue Salon.
Students must be over 19, have good communication skills, a smart appearance, self discipline and good motivation. It would be an advantage if the student were currently working with the hairdressing experience. The tutor will montor progress and provide support throughout, but the student will be required to take responsibility for progression through and completion of the course, it will require effort and strength of will on the part of the student to complete the qualification in just one year. Prospective students will be invited for interview.
