The first course (one week duration) is suited to the absolute beginner with no previous experience needed or entry requirements. This course is extremely intensive due to the amount of knowledge and skills you will gain in just one day. For example, on the first day of training, you will know how to create flawless foundation for magazines and catwalk shows. Ideal for those who are interested in working in fashion, photographic, advertising campaigns, catwalk shows, music, celebrity and the bridal industry.

Mai Lee and her Beauty Academy team, selects the best makeup and hair artist from around the world to share their professional experiences. They will give away the tips and tricks of the trade. You will learn how to create different textures of the skin with a natural commercial, editorial or bridal finish. The looks go on to smokey dramatic eyes using different skills and techniques achieving a high gloss effect. Yes, the practical work involved is quite the opposite to learning basic skills. On graduating successfully, students are encouraged to accept work experience we offer them to build up confidence.

Students who decide not to advance their knowledge by not attending the consecutive 2, 3 or 4 weeks courses, are required to come back a week after the Intensive Basic on the following Friday, where they will have a wonderful experience taking part in the graduation photoshoot day. A celebrity fashion photographer and professional models will be provided by our supporting agencies such as Storm, Elite, FM, Premier, Oxygen, Bookings, Select and Models 1. This will give students high quality images to start a portfolio collection and the images have an amazing opportunity to be published in a fashion magazine. Please Note: Attendees who have paid for the full course are invited to the “Opening Day”. You will receive preparation work before the opening day and advance training which is held the Friday before the course starts. Students are also required to attend the Friday after the end of course date for the Photoshoot Graduation day.
