This course provides an introduction to work in the hair and beauty sector and the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge required for work. Course content: Structure and working practices of the hair and beauty sector Health safety and security in the workplace Skin and nail care Styling women and men's hair Plaiting and twisting Art of photographic make up Please note: Prior to starting the course you are expected to purchase your own uniform and beauty kit costing approximately �70 which you will keep when you finish the course and use in your future career. After this course: Progression to Level 2 qualification.
You must be aged 16 or over. Students need to have entry level 3 in English or Maths or achieve an equivalent level in the initial College assessment. Please note: Prior to starting the course you are expected to purchase your own uniform and beauty kit costing approximately �70.
