Our mission is simple - we want to remain an outstanding land-based College.
We have been teaching students in all aspects of the rural industries for over 50 years and are currently one of the top three such institutions in the UK. We offer a range of exciting courses covering all aspects of the land-based sector - from animal management through to agriculture, and equine studies through to fisheries, floristry and garden design.
Campuses are situated at Hadlow, Mottingham and Canterbury.

We know there is more to College life than just learning which is why we never lose sight of the fact that everything we do should be fun. Because of the way we combine practical experience with theoretical learning, both past and present students repeatedly tell us how much they’ve enjoyed their time at Hadlow College. Some even stay on to completed Higher Educational courses, whilst others recommend us to their friends.
The range of entertainment varies each year depending on the interests of the students. Successful events have included; film nights; quiz nights; karaoke; discos and live music in the bar. Other regular features are the Christmas Ball, Summer Ball, Summer BBQ and RAG week.
We host some of the best live acts from around Kent in the College bar and offer a comfortable atmosphere where students can relax in an informal environment. The entertainment caters for a wide variety of tastes and includes quiz nights, themed discos, and tuition in Latin or Urban dance.
Every Wednesday afternoon it is sports afternoon with many sports clubs and teams taking part in regular competitive fixtures against colleges from around the local area. In addition to this, there is the opportunity to join other enrichment activities organised by the Student Support Services Team.
LocationSituated in the heart of picturesque West Kent, with good transport links that make it ideal for both town and country. Surrounded by farms and agricultural enterprises it is nevertheless only 40 minutes by train from central London, and on direct bus routes to Tonbridge, Royal Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone. Once enrolled, a dedicated bus service is available for full-time students from Maidstone and Tonbridge.
MottinghamOffering land-based training to those who want to escape the fast pace of city life, the campus lies in the green-belt area of South East London.
CanterburyJust 10 minutes walk from the city-centre, this two hectare campus lies on Spring Lane and close to the A257 Canterbury to Sandwich road.
FacilitiesThe Library aims to support and enhance the teaching and learning at Hadlow College by providing relevant collections of information and purposeful learning environments for all members of the college community. Our current stock totals over 18,000 specialist resources across both traditional print and electronic media.
