This course covers units which include: inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, biology for chemists, analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry, laboratory management and organisation and project.
Participants should have completed BTEC National Certificate or Diploma in Applied Science or similar discipline, GCE Advanced level profile which demonstrates strong performance in a relevant subject supported by an adequate performance in another GCE, other related level 3 qualifications or Access to Higher Education Certificate awarded by an approved further education institution.

Applied Chemistry
I found the course really interesting. No prior knowledge is really needed although I'd say Geography GCSE would be an advantage. One teacher called Andy had a very good way of explaining things and made the lessons more enjoyable....more
