Guildford College is a large government College founded over 70 years ago and has grown to be one of the leading providers of Further and Higher Education in the south of England. We have three campuses offering education and training courses to nearly 14 000 full-time and part-time students, of which 1200 are international students.

Our campuses are situated in beautiful locations and as Guildford is so close to London, students have the dual advantage of a safe and attractive place to live and study while being able to enjoy the fun and excitement of one of the greatest cities in the world.

Stoke Park Campus is set in parkland close to Guildford town centre. It has the largest numbers of students studying on site at any one time and is just 10 minutes walk away from the train station where trains run frequently to central London and the South Coast.

Merrist Wood is our 400 acre campus specialising in land-based courses. It is located three miles from Guildford town centre and dates back to as early as 1318. We have recently won a gold medal at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show bringing the medal tally over the years to 41! We have also been consistently successful at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show winning a number of gold, silver and bronze medals.

Guildford College has an excellent reputation for it's courses and we have an outstanding record of success for students gaining their qualifications in both academic and vocational areas. For an increasing number of students, Colleges are becoming the place to study for a degree.

Higher Education
Guildford College is proud of its Higher Education Academy. With over 30 Foundation Degrees, HNC's, HND's and Bachelor Degrees we can offer choice and quality at extremely competitive prices. Courses are taught at Stoke Park and Merrist Wood Campuses and are validated by leading universities and awarding bodies.

As our courses as vocational, they provide you with skills and experience as well as knowledge and theory and as a result, students who graduate from our HE courses have an excellent track record of employment.

Our HE Academy offers smaller classes, individual tutorials and comprehensive support at competitive prices compared to universities.

You can also use Guildford as a base to explore and visit other places of interest including Oxford, Cambridge, Portsmouth and Brighton: all less than 2 hours away.
