Greenwich School Of Management Overview
Greenwich School of Management (GSM) is one of the leading independent higher education providers in the UK. The School is an Affiliated College of the University of Plymouth and is in association with the University of Wales. The School offers programmes at professional, undergraduate and postgraduate levels in business, management, IT and coomputing and travel & tourism and related areas. All the available resources are dedicated to the provision of these programmes. The Library, for example, focuses on business management and cognate disciplines, and the lecturing faculty has expecrience in the theoretical and practical implementation in their specialist areas of management, computing and travel & tourism. This functional dedication and depth of expertise gives the School a distinct advantage over those higher education institutions which offer a wide range of courses covering many disciplines.
Greenwich is a buzzing student town with a thriving social scene with easy reach of the centre of London. There is a wealth of clubs, pubs, eating places, galleries and museums in Greenwich, as well as arts and crafts markets. Pleasure boats make the short trip up and down the River Thames from Greenwich to Central London. There are many historical sites and links to the past in the local area. The Royal Observatory stands in Greenwich Park together with National Maritime Museum and the Queen's House. The Royal Park is a short walk from the School.
