This course will give students the ability to generate great creative ideas as well as the skills to execute them. It is industry focused, with the emphasis on multi-disciplinary approaches to problem solving. They will learn to be equally at home using both traditional graphic and illustration media and the latest digital technology. During year one of the course, they will learn some of the skills and techniques essential for students of graphic communication. They will use a wide range of media and materials, working with both traditional media and modern digital technology. Modules are: thinking about ideas 1A, visual skills 1A, critical and cultural studies 1, directions 1B and visual skills 1B.
For UK students, normally three GCSE passes at grade C or above or equivalent, and at least one GCE A2 level at grade E or above are required. However, we are interested in all applicants who have commitment, and are determined to succeed. We're very flexible when it comes to admissions, and welcome applications from those without formal qualifications.
