Course Description
On this course students will undertake a practical course in which creative thinking and initial skill building leads to a thorough understanding of the design process. Tailored units are constructed to provide a working knowledge of typography, desktop publishing and the ability to answer creative briefs. All the key elements in graphic design are explored which include editorial design, corporate identity, advertising and packaging. They will also gain all the relevant computer skills required in today's industry.

Assessment method
Assessment is through regular one-to-one tutorials to discuss students' progress, with assessment at the end of each project.

Entry Requirements
Entry requirements are A Levels, National Diploma, Foundation Diploma or Access to HE course in a related subject. Mature students with relevant ability and experience will be considered. Applicants must bring a portfolio of their work to interview.
