Course Description
The course reflects the way creative industry thinks and works today, and allows you to choose the route that best mirrors your creative aspirations, whether in conceptual design/thinking, graphic design, design for multimedia, or editorial design It encourages you to maintain a sharp focus on the design industry, but also to take a step back to appreciate its place in society at large. In this way, you will become a thinking practitioner, able to colour your work with many related theories and influences, such as art and design history, aesthetics, semiotics, representation, deconstruction, ecological, ethical and social issues Using predominantly studio-based methods, your imagination, creativity and intellectual skills will be nurtured as you develop your own individual creative 'identity'.
