This workshop is for those who never learnt grammar at school or have forgotten what they learnt. It includes the core principles on punctuation, spelling and grammar as well as sorting out some of the universal problems including words that get misused and confused. Content includes: the myths of school English, rules, common grammar speak, punctuation and how and when to use it, sorting out tenses, use of adjectives and adverbs, dangers of clichs and puns, starting sentences with _and_ or _but_ and getting the best from spelling and grammar checkers.
