We will also continue to operate our IELTS test centre, now the largest in the UK. The Modern Languages Department at International House runs an extensive programme of courses in Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish. Courses are offered at all levels from Beginners to Advanced: Evening Part-time group classes; in-company One-to-One and closed groups. The English Department runs a wide range of programmes full time daytime and part-time in the evening in General English; IELTS - Cambridge Examination preparation courses; Business English in groups and one-to-one. Our Teacher Training department runs a wide range of English teaching certificates – including the IH TESOL, CELTA and Delta qualifications and the LCCI Certificate in teaching for Business. IH London also offers a wide range of courses for overseas teachers of English from Language Development and Teaching skills to Current Trends in ELT. Younger learners can choose between English Plus and English Active, both packed with lively and fun lessons for children learning English. For native speakers of French-German-Italian-Spanish who are looking at a teaching carrier in the UK, we offer full time and part-time programmes leading to the IH CLTA teaching certificate.
