Year 2: Theory and practice of geography; geographical analysis and research methods; Earth observation; cartography; geographical information systems; environmental modelling; options: physical geography: ice age legacy; fluvial geomorphology; vegetation patterns; dangerous Earth; human geography: evolution of Third World cities; regional economic planning and policy; geographies of exclusion; landscapes of modernity; urban services; overseas field course. Year 3: Frontiers of geography; dissertation; geomatics options; physical geography or human geography options.
