Graduate to Great Things with the University of Liverpool
This programme uses both archaeological methods and geographical approaches to cover interactions between humans and their environments and combines an interest in the past with the study of human and/or physical geography; the first year introduces students to archaeological methods and they choose 3 topics from world prehistory through to Greek and Egyptian archaeology; also covered are key skills in geography and 3 modules in physical and human geography; years 2 to 3 cover specialisation in specific areas of archaeology and in subjects such as climate change, geomorphology, soils or population and cultural geography; a dissertation based on personal research is also undertaken; 3rd year students also have the option of participating in a field course as part of the geography strand.
