This course addresses key ideas and debates in our world today. Devised to allow a balance between your particualr physical human and/or environmental interests and key geographical topics it aims to provide you with knowledge understanding and skills for further study at higher education or for employment. Examination is through a combination of data response short answer and longer/guided essay questions. As you advance to A2 examination includes a synoptic paper which makes use of pre-released information. There will be opportunities for fieldwork during the course.
You must be aged 16-18. Students need to have 5 GCSE passes (A*-C grades) at one sitting including English and Maths.
