Course Description
The course covers: An introduction to the Principles and practice of GIS with training in Water Resource management, Catchment Dynamics and Management; in the use of major Proprietary GIS packages; GIS and Environment; Remote Sensing; River systems and Global Environmental change; Law and the Environment; Forecasting in Hydrology; Solute and Suspended Sediment Dynamics and Work Placement.
Course Fees
Fees for 2008/09: £3240, except for MBA: £16500 & Business School MSc/MAs, which vary between £3240-7500. These fees are provisional, please check details when making your application. For further information, regarding fees or funding, please contact the provider. Self-supporting students may pay in two instalments - 50% being payable upon registration & the second by direct debit, from a UK Bank five months after the course start date.

Entry Requirements
At least a good second class honours degree in an appropriate subject (e.g. Geography, Geology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Computer Science or related disciplines). Suitable equivalent qualifications would be considered for overseas/mature students, especially those with relevant work experience. Overseas students whose first language is not English, generally require TOEFL 550(220 computer based)/IELTS 6.0 -7.0 scores. Further information can be obtained from the provider.
