Course Description
The purpose of the taught MSc/Diploma in GIS for Business and Service Planning is to provide advanced scientific knowledge and skills in the theory, methods and use of geographical information systems (GIS) for business and service planning. Key features of the course include the focus on GIS, geodemographics, retail decision support systems and a work placement (a research topic undertaken in collaboration with a GIS or business organisation).

Course Fees
Fees for 2008/09: £3240, except for MBA: £16500 & Business School MSc/MAs, which vary between £3240-7500. These fees are provisional, please check details when making your application. For further information, regarding fees or funding, please contact the provider. Self-supporting students may pay in two instalments - 50% being payable upon registration & the second by direct debit, from a UK Bank five months after the course start date.

Entry Requirements
At least a good second class honours degree in an appropriate subject (e.g. Geography, Computer Studies, Economics, Business Management or other appropriate social/computer science degree). Suitable equivalent qualifications would be considered for overseas/mature students, especially those with relevant professional experience. English language requirements: IELTS 6.
