Course Description
This qualification offers a range of units, including Organic Gardening; Plant Propagation; Weeds; Pests and Diseases; Beds and Borders; and Wildlife Gardening. The course will be of interest to those working in the horticulture industry or with a keen interest in gardening, and it covers the application of relevant skills.

Venue Description
The college provides a subsidised day nursery for children aged three months to five years. Careers advice and guidance is available to all students through the connexions and nexstep services. Team of specialist staff is on hand, and specialised equipment available, to assist students with learning difficulties. Classroom support is available for students with a statemented need, e.g. dyslexia, dyspraxia, visual impairment or hearing impairment. Facilities are available for the preparation of specific learning materials. The college is well-equipped to assist students with disabilities. Disabled parking bays are available close to college entrances. Disabled toilets are located at a variety of places around the buildings. Ramps facilitate wheelchair access to buildings and lifts allow access to upstairs teaching rooms. All full time students are allocated a personal tutor who, as well as supporting them in their learning.
