Students receive an introduction to 3-dimensional (3D) computer animation and 3D digital art principles through a series of fundamental exercises, and then progress to advanced assignments in computer-based animation and 3D digital art.
During years 2 and 3 students can opt to specialise in the following areas: Character animation; creature animation; 3D computer games artist; 3D environmental artist; 3D visual effects artist; 3D pre-vis artist; 3D rigging technician; 3D digital lighting artist.
