This course is different to a standard Maths A level in that you'll study twice as much maths and cover a wider range of branches of mathematics. You'll cover six modules in each year, selected from pure maths, mechanics, statistics and decision will mean that, as well as studying to a more advanced level, you will cover a wider range of branches of mathematics than you would if you were doing the standard A level. At the end of the 2 years you will have gained A Level Mathematics and A Level Further Mathematics.
Six GCSE grades A* - C in National Curriculum Subjects, including Maths at Grade A or A* and one other subject at grade B or above, and normally including a C or above in English GCSE.
